We are SO proud of the whole team (FGPG + ShowReady + FormDecor) and your outstanding effort… MANY thanks to each and every one you for your individual and collective contributions in making 2K’s booth a huge success for us. This is one of our proudest projects since FGPG’s beginnings in 2001.

Excerpt:
In an environment as busy as it gets, booths have to accomplish multiple goals. You want people to notice your booth — and immediately know the booth’s owner. A good booth is usually designed to showcase multiple games, and make sure that key games get promoted as visibly as possibly. Preferably, you’d like people to be intrigued and want to visit your booth from across the hall, even if they don’t know anything about your product ahead of time.

Usually large booths will have meeting spaces, and information desks, and storage, and perhaps multiple levels. Some booths even contain a lounge or a bar, and a theater is commonplace. Private game demo areas for VIPs are often featured, and the most popular games have to consider how to handle crowds and lines and not make fire marshals uncomfortable.

This is a demanding task, one that engages multiple staff members for months at a time. Major publishers have staffers who manage this full time for multiple shows around the world. How successful are these booths and displays at meeting their goals? Judge for yourself.

2K
This booth has a dramatic impact with its life-size statue of a monster from upcoming game Evolve. This dramatically lit creature is visible from quite a distance, and it’s a good attention-grabber. 2K also has an excellent sign that again is readable from quite a distance.
