Concept: B2B Event | Design and Produce product launch event to
increase brand awareness and retail sales.
FGPG’s long-time partnership with video gaming leader 2K Games, extends beyond the tradeshow floor… In addition to designing and producing this year’s booth on the convention floor at GameStop Expo; FGPG transformed the Bellini Ballroom, in the Venetian Hotel into a two day product launch event and training session for the distributors and managers.
Leveraging the sporting themes of both games, FGPG created a sports broadcasting environment for the set of training sessions, including a corporate branded stage that featured a wall paneled backdrop and broadcaster desk set. Angled fabric walls provided a textured look to the stage and two projection screens were featured on each side of the room to showcase trailers and highlights of the games. The wall panel backdrop also served as a design element to “hide” the green room where leading NBA and WWE stars surprised the audience, joining them for interviews and Q & A about the new releases throughout the 2 day sessions.
FG|PG created a marketing event that engaged GameStop distributors and provided an insider’s look and understanding of the soon to be released gaming titles. FG|PG’s creative design both on and off the show floor helped 2K to achieve the main goal of driving interest and retail sales for upcoming releases of NBA 2K18 and WWE 2K18 video games, through increased engagement and brand awareness.
