Project: Meeting Room at AMUG 2018
Concept: Rental solution with product displays, meeting spaces, and the ability to quickly reconfigure the room for presentations.
Carbon, one of the leaders in the emerging technology of 3D printing is becoming a mainstay at AMUG, where a global community of additive manufacturers comes together for 5 days of workshops, presentations, and competitions aimed at accelerating the growth of this disruptive industry.
The entire vibe of this event is all about fostering community and education so Carbon was seeking a turnkey solution that combined product displays with flexible meeting spaces and the ability to deliver key presentations to a packed room.
FG|PG designed a custom rental space with high-end wood finishes, solid floors, and illuminated displays that accommodated all of their product and educational requirements. The room was often at capacity and drew great attention from media bloggers focused on how Carbon is shaking up the 3D printing industry.
This years’ focus was on the launch of the Carbon certification program, a program developed specifically for their users and production partners. Deep, ongoing certification, and education is something that has been lacking in the industry and Carbon hopes by introducing this program they can accelerate the adoption of 3D manufacturing overall.
Carbon CEO and Co-founder Joe DeSimone also delivered a keynote about Carbon’s collaborative partnership with Adidas and how their technology will define factories of the future. FG|PG continues to develop Carbon’s brand presence across all of their shows and events.
