This was Netflix’s first year to have a booth, at Comic-Con. FG|PG, was selected by Brand Connections to design and produce BOTH the Bright and The Defenders branded interactive experiences at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp and also the immersive exhibit across the street in the Convention Center.
The 20’x30’ booth featured eye catching graphics, impactful signage, but the real buzz was created by the innovative tunnel comprised of 68 monitors designed to totally immerse attendees in Netflix programming and preview trailers of the upcoming seasons of Stranger Things, The Defenders, Death Note and the new movie Bright starring Will Smith. But the most outstanding and buzz-worthy interactive element of the booth was created by incorporating custom software to scour social media outlets, identifying and aggregating content from predetermined influencers and hashtags.
Utilizing high-tech integration, at designated intervals throughout each day, the entire booth would transform into an immersive interactive social media experience. Enabling attendees to post on social media and have their posts become actual part of the experience. This visually distinct booth was rated one of the top 7 booths to visit at Comic-Con by Hollywood Reporter.
