Project: Game Days GDC
Concept: Create a three (3) day immersive brand experience known as Media Game Days for Press and Media during Game Developers Conference.
In addition to an impressive exhibit space at Moscone Center, FGPG amplified Oculus’ brand presence at GDC 2017 by taking over the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and transforming it into Game Days, a sophisticated three-day private event that featured private VR demos and not to be missed party for press and VIPs.
Day one was an exclusive press event providing the media an interactive demonstration of Oculus’ newly released VR games in one of nineteen (19) private touch demo stations complete with a personal brand ambassador on hand for technical support. Branded workstations with Wi-Fi access and power outlets, plus a food bar serving appetizers provided unlimited networking opportunities. The lobby was transformed into a full coffee bar complete with edible Oculus and VR Gear logos on the sweet treats and designed on the foam of the cappuccinos.
The second day was by invitation only for industry VIPS and key influencers within the community to experience virtual reality. Game Days capped off the final evening with an exclusive cocktail party for game developer relations. Guests were immersed into a night featuring a live DJ, two (2) full beverage bars, appetizers, lounge space that provided even more opportunities to experience the latest VR games. FGPG’s management and event production created a sophisticated, relaxed party vibe that maintained the energy from the day to deliver a complete 360 Oculus brand experience.
