Oculus Connect 2 | 2015
For the Oculus OC2 user conference, we converted four floors of the Loews Hollywood Hotel, the TLC Chinese Theater and the Dolby Theater into a high-tech hub. It was no easy task projecting the Oculus brand across more than three acres of event space, but we love a challenge.
We converted large ballrooms into dozens of pockets for product demos to set the stage for an immersive attendee experience. Turning over spaces to keep the content fresh was a central part of this conference and kept us on our toes as we transformed the welcome reception area into a VR lounge, and then morphed it again into a space for the closing breakfast. Press lounge and registration areas later became workshop venues. Attendees were impressed and the conference created a media buzz, with over 2,100 stories about OC2 appearing in the press.
