Concept: Create a branded environment throughout the space by showcasing multiple branded demos and experiences.
E3 is the world’s premier B-to-B trade show for computer and video games and related products, which takes place in the Los Angeles Convention Center. There were more than 270 exhibitors at the show.
Oculus believes that their products speak for themselves. Thus, it committed over 50% of the available floor space in the exhibit to product demos so that attendees could experience its VR technology. The two-story 50’ x 100’ exhibit included a large demo area on the lower level. Twelve demo stations with comfortable seating and a Gear VR headset were available to any E3 attendee.
Oculus was able to generate a lot of show floor buzz and attract long lines of attendees to their exhibit by focusing on what the attendee wanted most – a chance to experience its virtual reality products. The Oculus Touch demos were so popular that lines formed around the entire exhibit.
